Hereby our official statement regarding the Killah Priest issue which has been circulating over the net for a couple of days now.
We have spoken to Priest directly regarding this matter and solved it the day after the confusion sparked up.
Killah Priest did not know this site was an official one until one of our staff members informed him. This website www.wutangcorp.com is an official website funded directly by RZA and was also mentioned as the official website in the CD booklet of RZA's latest release 'Birth Of A Prince'. We strongly deny any other accusations regarding our official status.
During our direct talks with Priest a few days ago, he stated that he was dissatisfied with some websites for posting the news as if he in person was in need of financial aid, while our ad clearly stated that the company interested in this project was asking financial support from the fans to bring this project to life, a project by fans for the fans. One of Priest's spokesmen then contacted the websites and expressed a statement, which was according to Priest himself as told to us, exaggerated in the way they wrote it down. Priest claims never to have said those words like that.
With all this confusion and drama aside, it did bring in potential investors and some are already in talks with Priest to realize this project. We thank all of our true Wu-Tang supporters who have supported this project out of loyalty and love for the music, something Wu-Tang Clan and Corporation will be proud of forever.
