i'm a mad rza fan in all what he does and did...
as the human and artist i got to go with rza... but i'm not as hyped by rza projects than by bronze projects (as an musician) i love soul and bronze brings classic soulsamples to the table like rza did in the past... rza makes good music, no doubt... i like the black keys colabo and his live instrumentation music but i more like bronze beats b/c of the soul in it... listn to that beat.. i got the sample and i'm not able to chop it like bronze did... fuckin impossible... (to name one!) |

first of all rza is the creator of the sound that influences bronze's whole style. second, rza can do wack beats for the rst of hisl ife if he wanted and no one could still touch him just because of his catalog alone. he put in his work already and he is undisputed!

When the thread was made I definitely liked Bronze better than RZA. Most people think School For The Blindman is him at his, best but his drums were far more ill on previous works as were his chops. Imo he already fell off. I think Bronze was at his best up until 08.

Bronze is dope but Rza is a fuckin' alien. The dude is not human ! As Dj Goldfingaz said :"none of them (wu-elements) can fuck with the Rza", the guy is unique. Some of his beats are so incredible that I can listen to them, again and again. As Bronze himself said Rza is the abbott and he is the apprentice. I don't give a fuck if Rza has fallen off, his legacy is huge. His job is timeless. As he said music is not enough, his creativity needs a new medium. He is in another chamber.

The Phillie Detriot Zoo album is a GREAT GREAT album. Yo I got to go wif Bronze. Rza has his legacy already, of course. If you really listem to Bronze's stuff, it's obvious he's NOT an imitation. He's got a Wu influence and affiliated but goes off in his own way. Bronze is better lyricist. Yep. I said it. and if you want to argue that one, you haven't listened to Bronze rhymes. What is missing (and you can thank me for hitting this on the head) is Bronze N doesn't have the MC's Rza had. He has no Meth, no ODB, No Rae, No Ghost.... That's the big difference. If Bronze ad those guys or 5 MC's on that skill-level,we'd be talking legacy vs legacy. |
